Florivaldo Pereira was introduced to Jesus Christ as a young man in his 20's by a friend. His friend pastored a church in Brazil and had given him a booklet on the Gospel of John to read. Florivaldo began visiting the church and listening to his friend as he preached God's word. During a Sunday morning service as his friend spoke of heaven and hell, the Holy Spirit confirmed in Florivaldo's heart that he was lost and would be eternally separated from God in hell. Florivaldo went forward at the invitation from the pastor and received Christ as his personal Savior.
He began his walk with the Lord 23 years ago that eventually brought him to Tennessee Temple University where he received a degree in Pastoral Studies.
Florivaldo and his wife Robin have two children, Rebecca and Jonathan, and upon completion of deputation will serve Christ in Brazil.
